Of course! It's free to store your bags until 23:00 the day of your check-out, or from 07:00 on the day of your check-in.

Is it quiet at night?

Althought the Plaza de armas of Santiago is the mere center of the city, we try to provide a very nice relaxing spaces for resting. We also have the policy of silence time at midnight.

Do you have planned events or activities?

Yes! At least 3 nights a week we have a different activity!

Can I use my own sleeping bag?

All beds have sheets and are made daily. If you need more quilts, just ask in reception. For health reasons we do not allow the use of your own bedclothes.

Do I need a lock for the lockers?

Yes! If you don't have your own, we sell them in reception for $2.000 pesos (according to availability).

How much does it cost to rent a lock?

We only sell locks (for security reasons).

Great view from window.

Apparently after changes in Chile after 2019 this area became dangerous (info from local tourist guide). We did not know that before booking. Boulding is very lovely outside but inside is very sketchy, dirty and inhabited by weird people. Prostitution also takes place in some apartments here. Definitely is not safe there and also locals people were aware of that. Whenever we waited for uber guy from desk downstairs stayed with us as a guardian until uber arrived. That was very kind of him but it speaks a lot about safety there. In the room description it is said that there is AirCon but that is a lie.

Well located, quite cheap

Amazing views, very well located, quite cheap.

The staff were more focusing on doing their thing than helping or giving information. Not very nice. They were volunteers, kicked me out of the balcony because they wanted to use the bbq. Also in the building there were some other undefined businesses that bring all type of weird people around the entrance.

Ok, but I was happy I had a reservation for one night only.

The place was central. There is a great view on Plaza de Armas. I did ask for directions on how to get to the airport, and the staff was helpful.

The kitchen was smelly, and I arrived just after check-in, when not a lot of people have used it yet. In a world that is barely getting out of a pandemic, I don't understand why there is no soap for people to wash their hands in every bathroom.

Useful for a one night stay but that's about it

The views over the plaza de armas were really good. The staff were polite and helpful.

I had a top bunk on an incredibly creaky bunkbed, every time a moved even slightly it creaked very loudly and the whole bed moved - I felt sorry for the person in the bunk below and the bunk felt unstable without barriers too. There was no ladder to what was quite a high top bunk, and I had to push myself up off the opposing bunkbed. In addition the pillow was pretty useless, with clumped and very little padding. I was glad I was only staying for one night.

The elevator was constantly busy and needed to wait every time like 10min queing. 4th floor is bordel ???? full of prostitutes coming and going with its customers. Not dangerous.

Passable for 1-2 night(s)

- Location: right in the city centre, shops & markets nearby - Staff: friendly and welcoming. She speaks very very limited English, but Google Translate is my friend, so can communicate quite ok even I don't speak Spanish and she doesn't speak English. - Cleanliness in the room.

- Location: because it is next to the square, so it's very noisy. Music won't stop until late at night. - It was hard to look for this accommodation because there is no sign indicating it's a hostel at the building. It is located on the 6th in an old building, looks like a mall/ market. Google Map takes you to the right location though, but as said, there is no sign, so hard to find unless asking people around. - Not sure how they seperated each room, but whatever the guests in the other room do, you can hear it in your room, so it's annoying if the guests next door have no courtesy to stay quiet at night time. - The shared bathrooms are gross, in very poor conditions. The drainage is blocked.

I met really nice people from all over the world; hopefully I'll see them again soon.

The staff of Plaza are the nicest professionals you'll meet, that said the owner of this hostel is being cheap. First, there's no HEAT!! No heat in the main lobby, and we all sat in the kitchen and boiled water and did Karaoke to keep warm. There are only a couple of heaters to use, but I guess you have to rent them? For the amount we are paying, we should be given heaters! Also, the size of the building is very large with only 1 elevator you have to use with 1,000 other residents living at this location. The hostel sits on the 6th floor, with rooms on 4th floor and maybe 3rd. The staff are extremely nice! The owner is cheap, stingy, etc. - she needs to improve the hostel. She can't change the elevator, but she can get heaters!

A good place to stay if you don't consider important things like organization, cleaness

Location, The entire staff, the view, We had some difficulties when we arrived (we asked to check-in earlier and they forget to let other staff team know), but we solved that, the rooms are not so clean but comfortable and it was what we expected.

The apartament that we rent is outside of the hostel, they don't warn you about securities issues, the room cleaness wasn't good
